Phoenix UK digital director becomes PharmAssist Solutions MD

Phoenix UK’s digital director Alex Potter has been appointed managing director of the integrated ordering software platform PharmAssist Solutions UK.

Potter (pictured) succeeds Amar Randhawa, PharmAssist’s founder and managing director who stepped down recently. Potter’s new appointment was greeted enthusiastically by Stuart Lucas, chair of the PharmAssist Board, who said “his deep understanding of the pharmacy sector, coupled with his experience in digital innovation, will lead PharmAssist as it continues to evolve and meet the ever-changing needs of its customers.”

Paying tribute to Randhawa, Lucas said: “Amar was the founder of PharmAssist and under his guidance we have achieved many significant milestones; he has been pivotal in driving the growth of PharmAssist.  We wish him every success in his future endeavours.”

Jeremy Main, independent executive director for PharmAssist, said: “We are thrilled to appoint Alex as managing director. His depth of knowledge and understanding within the digital space will no doubt take PharmAssist to the next level.

“This appointment builds on the fantastic legacy that Amar leaves behind, further strengthening our ability to provide a market leading service in the pharmacy sector.”
